Basic Dog Obedience

with Jessica Greenleaf

Calendar Apr 2, 2019 at 6:30 pm, runs for 5 weeks

This 5 week class will teach you and your dog the basics – sit, down, stay, come, and loose leash walking. We will teach verbal cues as well as hand signals and practice around distractions. Focus and calmness will also be introduced. Most importantly, you will learn how to train your dog using positive, fun, and engaging exercises that you can use to build an amazing relationship with your dog.

Dogs must be 6 months or older, in good health, and up to date on vaccinations. Leashes should be no longer than 6ft - no retractable leashes. Make sure to bring yummy treats – chicken, hot dogs, and cheese are great training treats.

Tuesday evening classes will run 4/2-5/7 (no class 4/16 for April vacation) 630-730pm at Gartley St School in Lisbon

Jessica Greanleaf created Loyal Leashes to help improve the quality of life for pets and their human companions. Whether it be dog walking or training, her goal is to help owners give their pets a life that all animals deserve to have.

She uses only positive, force-free training methods that are proven to work. Jessica likes to make the dogs think so they can learn to make the right choices. She believes that relationships are built on trust and confidence between the dog and owner.

Jessica is certified with honors as a dog trainer through Animal Behavior College. She continues to further her education so that she stays up to date on the most current training techniques so that she can continue to teach dogs and owners to work together, as a team.
