Jump Start: Crochet 101

For the very beginner! This class is a stepping-stone for any other crochet classes offered! In this class, you will learn the basic stitches that almost every pattern or stitch is based off from. You will learn about different tools and types of yarn! 

Children are allowed to participate with an accompanying adult!

Keyboarding Review

Overview of basic computer skills, an easy to use 'roadmap' to prepare students for daily use of the computer for communication. This is not a substitute for a full 'typing class'. Keyboarding skills will need to be demonstrated at a 25 WPM minimum.

Four main skill areas will be covered; Mouse skills, Navigation skills, Keyboarding skills & word processing skills. 

Lisbon Night Walking

The Lisbon Night Walkers are BACK!! Dont bundle up like our event photo - enjoy walking by yourself or with a group of friends in the Gartley St School gymnasium! 

Join us beginning Feb 27th 630-730P - We welcome you to come and strut your stuff! This is a self-directed activity, however, a signed liability form will be required before participation!

Registration is not required, but helps us keep track of how many community members are taking advantage of this opportunity!

ME Driving Dynamics

This is a 5hr course offering all drivers the opportunity to improve their defensive driving skills. Course includes discussion of collison avoidance techniques, safety issues, driver habits and attitudes, and includes the basic elements that constantly challenge drivers on Maine's roads and highways. Completing this course earns the participant a 3-point credit on their driving record with the DMV. 

Students 65yrs+ can receive a discount on the class, $25, as well as with their insurance provider.

RSU4: Tumble with Cat Haley

Our Tumble with Cat program has grown, we've acquired tumbling/performance assisting mats, barrels and cheese mats! 

Youngest age is 4years old, enrolled in a PreK program and up to the oldest and advanced ability! Cat will work with each student to perform, perfect and establish their tumble skills! Boys and girls are welcome and encouraged to attend! 

Classes are formed by age and ability, with information collected at time of registration. When completing the registration form, please indicate what time slot is preferred. We will make every effort to accommodate when creating groups and setting times*

Our SPRING 2018 session will begin with an on-site (OHHS, Cafe) and student tumble assessment on Friday April 20th from 215-715P. This is no cost for this and will only help with class placement for the 6week session. Each class runs for 1 hr! 

Class times are held at the following start times; 215P, 330P, 445P, 6P & 715P! Beginning April 25th.

Session dates: Wednesdays April 25th - May 30th! 

Cost: $75 per student, multi-child discounts are available! 

SAT Prep & Practice

Develop study habits with a hands-on, face-to-face preparation and practice 5 class session. This class provides tools and techniques for the student to be most prepared. 

SAT Test Dates: May 5th, register by April 6th

Tues 4/24, Wed 4/25, Thurs 4/26, Tues 5/1, Thurs 5/3 - 230-430P

This class will be held at Gartley Street School, students can be bused from Lisbon HS for this class offering.
