But includes a Career Exploration & Networking/Advising services matching you up for academic coursework to prepare you for entry into college!

HiSet (GED) Prepare & Practice

This FREE high schoool equivalency test option gives out-of-school youth and adults an opportunity to demonstrate their skills and earn a state-issued high schoool equivalency credential. The HiSet exam is making a powerful difference in adult education and available here at Lisbon Adult & Community Education! 

Intake appointments are made on Tuesdays and Thursdays evenings between 5-8P!

As part of our dedication to helping you achieve your educational goals, we offer a FREE High School Diploma program. Based on the graduation requirements of Lisbon School Dept, we do a review and analysis of your accumulated high school credits and determine what and how we can help you achieve your graduation goals! 

This is a FREE opportunity, by appointment here at our Lisbon Adult & Community Education program, located at Gartley School.

Appointments are made on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings between 5-8P.

Presented by G.E.A.R Parent Network, Laurie Cavanaugh, CPSP, Regional Parent Support Coordinator

Suicide is a significant concern in Maine and nationwide, but we can do something about it. Come learn more about what you can do to prevent suicide. The goals of the workshop seminar are to heighten awareness about suicide in Maine and beyond; increase the ability to speak openly about suicide; provide information about the risks and protective factors associated with suicide, teach what warning signs and clues to look for; teach skills to intervene when concerned someone might be considering suicide; and provide helpful resources for participants.
